My background, experience and offering

Hi, I am Ritu!. I have been taking private tuitions for Maths in London since 2010. My teaching style is to focus on quality with passion and rigour, to bring confidence and improvement in Maths grades at a fast and steady pace, building one strength at a time and moving to the next. I also believe in having a clear plan which I follow for each of my pupil – and then adjust the plan to get the best outcome. Most of the times I have written tailored material to compensate the gaps in the generic content to achieve the growth I want to see in my students. I usually spend hours preparing for each pupil so that I can tailor to their individual needs. I have taught pupils of different calibre and have been delighted to see them exceed their own expectations. 

 

Why Stellar Maths?

I have been tutoring for 11+ (both grammar and independent schools) and GCSEs (mainly for independent schools). Most of these have been in 1:1 setting. 

Overall 11+ pass rate for my pupils have been more than 80% so far – including grammar and independent schools. For GCSEs and A-levels I have been successful in improving grades by 1 to 2 levels with more than 90% achieving 8-9 in GCSEs and A/A* in A-levels.

I have developed well-structured end-to-end programs which enable me to take my passion and expertise to a larger audience in small groups at a more affordable price. I have carried the the same individual focus and passion to a group setting by putting in more structure, evaluation and tailoring the class for individual needs. A face-to-face setting has been crucial to achieving the goals for my students. Exemplary results so far and counting!
